Meditation in Nature: Practicing Awareness and Direct Perception (REI Tucson)
Both meditation and spending time in nature have numerous health benefits, including stress reduction and an improved sense of well-being. Combining the two can enhance this sense of well-being and help you develop a deeper connection to your self and to the natural environment. During class, we’ll learn and practice meditation techniques to develop kinesthetic (body) awareness and self-awareness as well as deepening a sense of connection to nature. These techniques can be used in any environment and empower you with a go to, simple, practice to improve your health and well-being. This class is open to all experience levels. No previous meditation experience is required.
